6. Retrievability of Information
We rely on the available information while making decisions. Rare event that was found out recently usually looks significant and more frequent than in reality. But incorrect assumptions of frequency may result in overestimation of beneficial or harmful consequences, and lead to incorrect decision making. This phenomenon is also called availability heuristic.
